The year is still young. But I have to admit, I’ve seen some of the best trading in penny stocks so far this year that I have seen in several years. People are putting their money on the line to bid up micro cap stocks and the prices just keep getting higher.

Perhaps it is due to a general sense of relief that the economy appears to be recovering, albeit very sluggishly. Or maybe a notion that the European debt crisis will not have implications as serious as the Lehman brother’s bankruptcy of 2008. Whatever you want to attribute it to, people are willing to take big risks in hot penny stocks again.

Just go to your favorite charting web site and pull up a few charts of stocks that trade on the bulletin board and you will see what I am talking about. You should notice that the moving averages on a lot of penny stocks are curling upward, which is indicative of strong uptrends. Never stand in the way of a bull. The same goes for the current bull market in penny stocks.
